Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts for equity options trading platforms using SIEM tools
- Conduct forensic investigations and incident response for security breaches
- Implement and maintain security controls for trading applications and databases
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial systems
- Collaborate with trading teams to ensure security compliance in option pricing models
- Develop threat intelligence reports for equity derivatives infrastructure
- Manage weekend rotation for on-call security operations and incident response
- Document security policies and procedures for financial regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience in financial services or fintech
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection platforms
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or CEH with financial sector specialization
- Deep understanding of equity options trading systems and market data protocols
- Experience with network security, encryption, and regulatory frameworks (SOX, GDPR)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills for complex threat scenarios in financial environments
