Responsibilities
- Monitor and defend equity options trading systems against sophisticated cyber threats
- Conduct incident response for security breaches during market hours
- Implement and maintain advanced threat detection protocols
- Collaborate with trading desks to protect sensitive option pricing data
- Perform vulnerability assessments on trading platforms and financial APIs
- Develop security automation scripts for 24/7 protection
- Document security incidents and compliance reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with financial services experience
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CISSP required
- Expertise in network security, SIEM tools, and threat intelligence
- Strong understanding of options trading mechanics and financial regulations
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
