Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats using provided advanced SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing with company-provided equipment
- Analyze security incidents and implement mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls across networks
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend defensive improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Ability to work with provided specialized security hardware/software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
