Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools to identify and neutralize threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to strengthen organizational infrastructure.
- Investigate security breaches, root cause analysis, and implement remediation strategies.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to secure cloud environments and networks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in network security, incident response, or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with security tools like Splunk, FireEye, CrowdStrike, or similar SIEM platforms.
- Ability to work independently and remotely with high-level security clearance.
