Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats using provided SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing with company-provided hardware
- Develop and maintain security policies aligned with NIST frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and incident response protocols
- Analyze security alerts using provided forensic tools and dashboards
- Document security incidents and prepare executive reports
- Stay current with emerging threats using company-provided research resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) provided by company
- Industry certifications (Security+, CISSP, CEH) preferred
- Proficiency in network security protocols and tools
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with provided equipment in secure environments
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
