Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using provided SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments with licensed scanning software
- Investigate and document security incidents using forensic toolkits
- Implement security controls using provided hardware appliances
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using encrypted communication tools
- Generate reports using proprietary analytics platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
- 3+ years of SOC/Security Operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with network security tools (FireEye, Palo Alto)
- Valid U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
