Responsibilities
Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events within the SIEM platform (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).Conduct forensic investigations into security breaches and malware incidents.Configure and manage firewall rules, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices.Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and compliance reports.Stay current on emerging threats and security trends to proactively mitigate risks.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.3-5 years of professional experience in a SOC or Information Security role.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, CEH, GCIH) are strongly preferred.Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud services (AWS/Azure).Experience with threat intelligence tools and automation (Python/Bash scripting).Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
