Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing with provided equipment
- Analyze network traffic patterns to identify anomalies and potential breaches
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security incidents
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain security controls and compliance standards
- Generate detailed security reports and executive summaries
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Certifications: Security+, CISSP, or CompTIA CySA+ preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms and security automation tools
- Experience with network protocols and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
