As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be the first line of defense, monitoring our networks, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to incidents with precision. If you are passionate about cyber defense and want to work in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events through SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and perform risk assessments to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and data exposure.
- Manage and enforce access controls, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security best practices and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Document security incidents, create detailed reports for management, and participate in post-incident reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center) environment or a similar security role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and incident response methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
