Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Incident response coordination and forensic investigations
- Develop and maintain security documentation and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
- Report security metrics and trends to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint protection
- Strong understanding of network protocols and systems
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
