Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events in the SIEM system.
- Assist in the identification and triage of potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Support incident response activities and contribute to post-incident reports.
- Perform routine security audits and documentation updates.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to patch systems and implement security controls.
- Participate in penetration testing exercises to identify system weaknesses.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of computer networks, TCP/IP, and operating systems.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain relevant security certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+) upon employment.
