Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to identify potential threats.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of security incidents and tickets.
- Conduct routine vulnerability scans and report findings to the team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of security policies and procedures.
- Support the deployment of security patches and system updates.
- Participate in security awareness training and phishing simulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong interest in learning cybersecurity concepts and tools.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
