We're seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer to architect scalable solutions for our next-gen data platform. You'll own the full development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, while mentoring junior developers and driving technical excellence across our cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead cloud migration projects on AWS with 99.99% SLA requirements
- Mentor 3-4 engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize database performance for petabyte-scale data pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent QuantumLeap at tech conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architecture
- Strong background in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Cassandra)
- Proficiency with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design projects
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
