Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Document security incidents and collaborate with incident response teams
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing under supervision
- Assist in developing security policies and compliance frameworks
- Participate in threat hunting exercises and malware analysis
- Conduct security awareness training for non-technical staff
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP Associate certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
