Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events across the enterprise infrastructure using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations and execute forensic analysis to contain breaches and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify security gaps before malicious actors exploit them.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Collaborate with IT operations and software development teams to implement secure coding practices and secure architecture designs.
- Respond to and manage security incidents according to established incident response plans and playbooks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Valid certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, networking concepts, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Proficiency with security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection (EDR), and SIEM platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
