Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions to detect and mitigate threats.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security best practices and patch management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
- Prepare and present detailed security reports to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during security incidents.
