Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and anti-malware solutions.
- Manage user access rights and identity management (IAM) processes to enforce the principle of least privilege.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Support internal and external security audits, including SOC2 and ISO 27001 compliance efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT security operations.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in using security tools and technologies, including SIEM, SOAR, and EDR solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
