Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify weaknesses in systems and networks.
- Manage and enforce security policies, access controls, and identity management protocols (IAM) to safeguard sensitive data.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to contain breaches and restore normal operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS through documentation and reporting.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence to proactively enhance our security posture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly desirable.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Strong working knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Proven experience with SIEM platforms, log analysis, and threat hunting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
