Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools to detect potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses and remediate them.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, coordinating with cross-functional teams to mitigate damage.
- Enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design and implement secure network architectures.
- Prepare and present detailed security reports and dashboards to stakeholders and senior management.
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry best practices to proactively defend the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, LogRhythm, or Microsoft Sentinel.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and training purposes.
