Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, Azure Sentinel) to detect and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure.
- Manage and configure firewalls, anti-malware solutions, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Incident Response plans and playbooks to ensure rapid recovery from security breaches.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards, including SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with software engineering and IT operations teams to integrate security measures into the development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related IT role.
- Active certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell) and log analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex security findings to executive leadership.
