Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Develop incident response plans and execute breach containment procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security-by-design principles in cloud environments
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Research emerging threats and recommend defensive countermeasures
- Manage security tool integrations and optimize detection capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security operations, threat hunting, or incident response
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
- Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance frameworks
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
