Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and threats in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security patches, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Investigate security incidents and root cause analysis to prevent future breaches.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into daily operations.
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GSEC preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
