Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 network monitoring and threat detection
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Respond to security incidents with rapid mitigation protocols
- Develop and maintain security documentation (SOPs, playbooks)
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Generate daily/weekly security performance reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC analysis
- Active CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or CEH certification
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Proficiency in NIST framework and compliance standards
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Valid driver's license and ability to relocate to Houston
- Pass background check and drug screening
