Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for real-time threat detection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Incident response handling including malware analysis and containment
- Generate comprehensive security audit reports with actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement zero-trust architecture solutions
- Stay current on emerging threats through continuous threat intelligence research
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on SIEM/SOAR experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in penetration testing tools (Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001)
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality daily deliverables
