Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts during security breaches.
- Enforce and update security policies and procedures across the organization.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Perform security audits and compliance reporting (e.g., HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Experience with security frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards.
- Proven track record of identifying and mitigating advanced persistent threats (APTs).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
