Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk and FireEye.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews to identify potential weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain robust security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design secure software architectures and cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive security awareness training to employees to mitigate human error risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, Snort).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating system security (Windows/Linux).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
