Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-prem systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and compliance reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and hardening measures
- Analyze malware and advanced persistent threats using forensic tools
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Stay current on emerging threats via threat intelligence feeds and industry research
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM implementation
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (CEH preferred)
- Proficiency in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK)
- Strong analytical skills for threat correlation and anomaly detection
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple security priorities
