Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools such as Splunk and QRadar.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and execute incident response procedures effectively.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions to enforce strict security policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, and NIST frameworks.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, playbooks, and training materials for staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network security, or SOC operations.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for security automation.
- Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
