Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and investigate anomalies
- Conduct threat hunting and proactive vulnerability assessments
- Develop and refine security playbooks for incident response
- Perform forensic analysis on security breaches and malware incidents
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Generate comprehensive security reports for leadership
- Stay current with emerging threats and attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
