Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and coordinate remediation
- Develop and implement threat detection strategies using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Generate executive-level security reports and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security awareness training
- Manage security compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA, ISO 27001)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability scanning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Snort, Wireshark)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST SP 800-61)
- Ability to prioritize threats and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
