Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Splunk SOAR).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IPS/IDS, and endpoint protection solutions to safeguard corporate assets.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) across the organization.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches, providing detailed post-incident reports and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience as a Security Analyst or in a similar cybersecurity role.
- Certification such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC GSEC is highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Proficiency in using security tools and technologies, including SIEM, endpoint protection, and SIEM SOAR.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
