Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and reports
- Implement security controls aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps
- Stay current with emerging threats and countermeasures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security operations center (SOC)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, AlienVault)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Strong analytical skills and incident response expertise
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
