Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms to detect and mitigate threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for client networks
- Develop incident response plans and lead security breach investigations
- Implement and maintain security controls aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations
- Generate executive-level security reports and risk assessments
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security architectures
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate technical concepts
