Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar) for security incidents and anomalous activities
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and document detailed incident reports
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection solutions
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and patch management
- Develop playbooks for incident response and disaster recovery scenarios
- Stay updated on threat intelligence (MITRE ATT&CK, CVE databases) and emerging threats
- Conduct security awareness training for employees and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in a SOC or similar role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, network analysis (Wireshark), and scripting (Python/Bash)
- Experience with threat hunting methodologies and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure during incidents
