Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-prem assets
- Develop playbooks for ransomware, APT, and DDoS mitigation strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional incident response during security breaches
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and risk assessment reports
- Implement NIST and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks
- Manage security tool integrations (SOAR, EDR, firewalls)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat analysis role
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in threat intelligence (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII)
- Proficiency with Windows/Linux forensics and network protocols
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and IAM controls
- Strong Python/PowerShell scripting for automation
- Validated incident response handling (DFIR methodology)
