Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate rapid response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security documentation and compliance reports
- Implement zero-trust architecture and cloud security controls
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on secure CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP or GIAC certifications
- Expertise in NIST frameworks and ISO 27001 standards
- Proficiency with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours
