Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms 24/7 to detect and respond to security incidents
- Conduct forensic investigations of network intrusions and data breaches
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and patches
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and create comprehensive incident response reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP or GIAC certifications preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with network protocols and Windows/Linux systems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
