Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools to identify potential threats
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate rapid response actions
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident reports and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and threat intelligence trends
- Conduct security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
