Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructures
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and ensure compliance with regulations
- Analyze malware, phishing attempts, and attack vectors to enhance threat intelligence
- Lead incident response activities during security breaches and coordinate recovery efforts
- Generate comprehensive security reports for stakeholders and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks, ISO 27001, and compliance standards
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (MISP, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical security alerts
- Valid US work authorization and ability to obtain security clearance if required
