As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across hybrid environments. Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) for security alerts and anomalies
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts
- Implement and maintain security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive dashboards
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with hands-on SIEM experience
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP or CEH certifications preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security frameworks (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure during incidents
