Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors to proactively mitigate risks
- Lead security awareness training for employees across flexible schedules
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or analyst roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network architectures
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred
- Ability to work independently during flexible hours with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration
