Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including malware attacks and breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
- Generate detailed security reports and executive summaries
- Stay current on emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience with incident response and threat mitigation
