Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Investigate security incidents, document findings, and implement mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain security documentation including policies, procedures, and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry regulations
- Perform threat intelligence analysis to proactively identify emerging risks
- Generate security reports and executive dashboards for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security operations, threat detection, or incident response
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and security automation
- Certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure during incidents
