Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security protocols for cloud and on-premise environments
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps and enforce compliance standards
- Analyze threat intelligence feeds to proactively identify emerging risks
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed forensic reports
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Industry certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
