Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid infrastructure
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-premise environments
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate critical vulnerabilities within SLA
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent)
- Expertise in threat detection, network forensics, and log analysis
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- Proven experience with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Knowledge of zero-trust architecture implementation
- Ability to work rotating shifts during critical incidents
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred
