Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network architecture and applications.
- Manage and document incident response procedures, including triage, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2) across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and patch management strategies.
- Perform security audits and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with security tools and technologies (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Protection).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
