Immediate Opening: Protect Las Vegas's Critical Infrastructure
We're seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) in Las Vegas. You'll be the frontline defender against sophisticated cyber threats, safeguarding financial systems, healthcare networks, and municipal data across Nevada. This hybrid role combines hands-on threat hunting with strategic security architecture improvements.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze SIEM alerts using Splunk/SentinOne to detect advanced threats
- Lead incident response for ransomware, APTs, and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments across cloud/on-premises environments
- Develop playbooks for emerging threats (IoT, cloud misconfigurations)
- Collaborate with IT teams on security hardening and compliance (NIST, HIPAA)
- Produce executive-level threat briefings and remediation reports
- Participate in purple team exercises and threat hunting initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years SOC experience with SIEM/SOAR tools
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification
- Expertise in network forensics (Wireshark, Zeek)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure security services)
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
- Clearable background check required
