Responsibilities
- Monitor 24/7 security alerts across enterprise networks using Splunk and AlienVault
- Conduct forensic investigations of advanced persistent threats (APTs)
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for incident response protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments using Nessus and Qualys scanners
- Collaborate with NOC teams to remediate zero-day exploits
- Generate executive-level threat briefings for government stakeholders
- Lead penetration testing exercises on critical infrastructure systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on SOC analyst experience in regulated environments
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification (CompTIA Security+ required)
- Expertise in SIEM correlation rules and threat hunting methodologies
- Proficient with MITRE ATT&CK framework implementation
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance requirements
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell for automation
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance within 30 days
