Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Investigate security alerts and coordinate incident response protocols
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies, procedures)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture improvements
- Perform forensic analysis on security incidents and compile detailed reports
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity analysis experience
- CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms and threat detection tools
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, SANS)
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
