Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to security incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and remediate vulnerabilities
- Analyze malware and forensic data to determine attack vectors
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical incidents
- Valid U.S. government security clearance preferred
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and GRC frameworks
